Deeds
It is said that “no good deed goes unpunished.”
I think I fall into that category.
My sole goal was to find some remedies for the sleepless nights, the tossing and turning, and the world warming heat generation…not for me, but for my TTICTA wife. I wanted her to find comfort amidst all the discomfort, and if for any reason comfort was not to come, I was hoping to use the super nova heat to provide meaningful purpose for the world.
But sure enough, she has taken my deeds (done with a perfectly pure motive) and spewed vengeance beyond belief!
Today, while I showered, she hurried to the store to get a paper. Not because she wanted to read the news, but because she wanted to provide proof to our families that I was indeed (at least for now) still alive.
Here’s the proof she provided:
She even called out the date so everyone could see at this particular time at this particular place, I’m still breathing!
She’s certainly working overtime to pound her message home – “LEAVE ME ALONE”!
But her fighting back just inspires me to help even more!
I fully believe that all of her actions right now are not a threat, but instead, a desperate cry for more help!
I’m here for you sweetie!

Still such a butthead!! You just keep on “helping” and I’ll start filling up that tub with water. Now, where’s the toaster??
